Leave a tributeYour Dad is with us and we are enjoying his company and cherishing every minute we have with him since the passing of your Mom. Your little girl drove off with a horse in a trailer and is doing what you helped her start with,rodeo, she calls it her passion and we support her with it as best we can. Hope you, Ellen,Grandma Jean and all those others had a good party in heaven!
The years go quickly but the days are long without you;
We think of you often, memories of you are everywhere;
In the rising and setting sun we remember your love of colorful skies; In the warm breezes of fall we think of your love of the country;
In the chilly breezes of winter we think of the warmth and comfort you created in our homes;
As life renews in the spring we think of your love of nature;
In the relaxing days of summer we think of your beautiful smile and love of the outdoors, the family cottage and lake;
At holidays and family events we think of your warm greetings, fun and engaging conversation;
You are constantly with us;
We long to talk with you, laugh with you and feel your genuine caring.
Today we ask God to Bridge us from the intense sadness of your loss to the promise of tomorrow for our lives;
We look forward to the day that we will be with you in that place of eternal peace;
Until then we remember you. We will love you forever.
Bailey is a beautiful, mature young lady and we are all so proud of her. She is off to another High School Rodeo in Swift Current this weekend. She loves her new horse Snippy. Shaun and Lorraine are raising her like their daughter and she considers Taylor and Tanner her siblings.
Your smile will always be remembered. We love you and miss you always.
Days of sadness still come o'er us
Tears in silence often flow,
For memory keeps you ever near us
Though you died one year ago.
Look around your garden Lord
Find the son we love
Put your arms around him
We only wish we could.
The cheerful happy ways
The heart that won so many friends
In bygone happy days
This gesture is of immeasurable value, and speaks significantly
about the impact of the life we commemorate.""""

Dan's Gravesite Memorial
Quad Rally October 13, 2012
Today is a sad day for us Dan as we wake up to the third Anniversary of your passing. In the spirit of "celebrating" your life we focus on remembering the good times and laughter that we shared. This picture was taken during a break in the Vanscoy Quad Rally by Lisa Michnik and it is the last photo we have of you with us. We had such a great day and you were full of stories and BS as usual! We spent the whole afternoon zooming across fields and getting stuck and unstuck in the mud. All good until I blew the motor in my quad which of course made you laugh even harder! Wish you could have stayed for the fish fry but your sense of duty was so strong and your phone just kept ringing and ringing - so sadly off you went to deal with the other demands of the day. We keep your greatest treasure safe, well loved and cared for but know that only you could fill that hole in her heart where you should be. Miss you Bud, RIP Danny Boy!
